Webmaster / System Development Manager

POLE POSITION TRAVEL

We seek a web professional who can help us develop our next generation of web sites to sell exciting travel and other products in the world of MotoGP.
You will be part of a small team of 3-4 people involved in the production of our end-to-end systems integration; your role will be web site production and configuration of our new content management system which integrates to our back end travel management and online booking systems

Work will be full-time for at least 3 months, and requirements will be re-evaluted at that time. You must be based in Prague. Work will take place in our Prague office in order to maximise productivity during the critical early stages of development.

Start: immediately

(a) Essential Skills and qualifications:

- Proficiency in HTML and general web architecture and design
- Understanding of CMS (content management systems) especially Joomla
- Working knowledge of PHP / MySQL
- Proficiency with main web development tools such as Dreamweaver
- Ability to manipulate graphics with main tools such as Photoshop and Fireworks
- Familiarity with search engine optimisation
- Basics of web server configuration (Apache running on Linux)
- Fluency in English
- Secondary education

(b) Desirable skills and qualities

- 3 years’ experience in relevant field
- graphic design / creative visual skills
- another foreign language, especially Spanish or German
- proactive and business-solution minded and approach to tasks
- experience in travel industry and/or events management
- tested project management skills
- in-depth knowledge of MotoGP and related motorsports
- stress resistance, ability to work independently and flexibly within a dynamic and small team that operates at a fast pace
- professional demeanour
